September, 2019- september, 2021: Master’s degree in Photonics, EMJD Europhotonics(Aix-Marseille University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)
October, 2021-present: Smart-X MSCA ITN Doctoral Researcher (PhD) at greateyes GmbH
The title of my PhD project is “Development and Characterisation of a EUV/soft X-ray Single-Photon Sensitive sCMOS Camera”, my task will be in collaboration with the other PhD students of the SmartX program development high repetition rate XUV/X-ray imaging and single-photon detection based on the sCMOS camera platform. The primary goal will be the development of a EUV/soft X-ray sensitive sCMOS camera suitable for high repetition rate imaging and spectroscopy as well as single-photon detection that is a necessity for high sensitivity, transient soft X-ray absorption experiments. For proof of principle and characterization of the camera (efficiency, linearity, sub-pixel resolution, pile-up behaviour, etc) suitable experiments will be accomplished at Max Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy (FVB-MBI) on their experimental setup for X-ray ultrafast spectroscopy.
